    getting back on 2 wheels.

hello guys and girls. bit of advice needed. i've had my RD in bits for about 4 years now...(250 E) if anyones interested. whats mainly kicked it in the nuts is ive been using bits from other bikes of the period to get twin discs on the front and keep it looking period. and when i was assured bits were good. the things that arrived were just bollocksed. anywhos. now ive got a good setup its nearing being rideable. thing is i havent ridden a bike since i took it off the road to play with it. and now its back together im not sure taking it out after not riding anything for so long is a good idea.

question is do i buy a cheap shonker (probs a 125 as its slow enough to get some basics back!) to get some nerve back?. or do i just bite the bullet and get on it..and ruin a few sets of pants in the process?!

    Thanks

    Ben.

i dont have many pics of it at the moment theyre all backed up on a dvd somewhere. this is one i took while it was being reassembled over easter and its a phone pic. but it is a bit of oldskool porn to those who love aircooled RD's

just a side note..i bought a 600 fazer in addition to this..mainly because the fazer so far has proved more reliable in one month than the
RD did in 2 years. RD is pencilled in for mot next week. ill post how it goes
