Just about to rebuild my 2wd sapphire turn engine as follows,
rebore to as big as piston as avail.
full balance and 4kg steel flywheel
upgrade
to approx 330 bhp
so my questions as follows
what compression ratio to aim for ?
opening ports up as per Des Hammil book, but that indicates for n/a so will same apply for turbo ?
turbo suggestions, running std at the mo
injectors to use or kit- injectors/ map/ chip
fancy the idea of cops ( looks neater ) or would waste spark be best option re ecu change ? I'm thinking on the cost of.
one thing that may hinder things is I'm using 4wd exhaust manifold for space reasons plus didn't fancy shelling £1200 out for a stainless one!
using std cams, timing of them using full lift method ( got verniers )
any mods to plenum chamber without spending loads of cash for a fancy looking thing.
any advise greatly appreciated
