    Unleaded conversion options.

    Hi All.

I have a crossflow (1600) that i plan on using at some stage after a rebuild.

I dont know anything about the lead replacement "tablets" i have seen. Are they worth it?

Ideally i want an unleaded head.

Can anyone recommend a place for this? I tried google but only got one hit worth note and the quote i got...well it was eye watering.

    Cheers.

I got quoted £200 by South Wales Pistons (in Cardiff) to fit unleaded inserts recently.

Im thinking of doing this as well but ive also been told that if you pit a filter on the fuel line then you don't need the inserts...personally i think the guy was waffling
