Mk2 Escort Windscreen Wipers

Has anyone got a set of wipers off another car on their escort?

My shakey hands carnt handle little pins and small holes that dont line up

Can i fit some new legs (from a newer car) that just have slide on fittings?

Yep know where you are coming from with your request as I am in the same boat and want to swap em out for a newer type with the slide myself

I seem to remember pig saying he has mk5/6 escort ones on his, i have a pair in stock for mine

im guessing the blades will need to be a bit shorter as the arms are longer themselves?

Yeh most people use the ax wiper motor, but i will try the mk5/6 escort route first

I used some arms from a MK1 fiesta, so maybe MK2 Fiesta ones fit?

Have got a pair if your interested? They need tidying, were chrome ones that have beed painted without anyone keying the surface, so the paints flaked off, one has a missing spring but you should be able to use one of your current pair.

You need to speak to Mark Solloway at Historic Rallysport. He sells modified arms that are supposed to stay on the screen at decent speeds and PIAA silicone blades to fit them.

If you do buy any - please, please, please tell him Paul Alex sent you - and that he should pull his finger out (he'll know what you mean
