    Converting to Injection

Will shortly be injecting the Zetec in my Caterham.
I would like to mount the pressure regulator under the boot floor and then run a single pipe deadhead to the TBs.
Is there any big reason as to why I can't do it this way?
All K series Caterhams run a regulator in the engine bay with a return, but the more recent setup is an all-in-one pump/reg in the tank & a single deadhead pipe to the engine bay.
I'd much prefer to do it the deadhead way unless there's reason not to?

you could. the only thing with dead head fuel rails is they take longer to prime and are more likely to suffer issues, with heat soak causing fuel vapourisation problems.

You know i'd never even considered the priming aspect of dead headed systems - unless the injectors open, no fuel can flow up the line - good call G.

the late 106 gtis and c2s use the dead line set up but that is the only time i have seen it. it is nicer to run one line through the car but i have always run a full loop because of what graham has said.
