    Dta ecu

Do I need to use a air temp. sensor on my zetec with R6 TB's to make the ECU work (I'm trying to do as much wiring before buying the ECU!) and if so where do you suggest I fit it as I don't intend on making an air box. (I have made some 5-1/2" long trumpets though!!!)

Don't know whether you need one or not with the DTA but mounting it just in front of the intake of the TB's should be fine as it measures the temp of the air going in. If you have a air filter you could also mount it through the base plate etc

We fitted one to my car using jenveys and DTA management and as said already just fitted it into the airfilter backplate. Anywhere near to the trumpets should be fine, I think it is more critical with turbo cars where intake temps vary a lot more. We fitted one on the advice of people who have tried and tested them
