Converting mk1 Escort to disc brakes

Hi
Has anyone any ideas what parts I need to convert my 1973 Escort to front disc brakes, I have a pair of mk2 1600 Escort struts & calipers, what else do I need ? Do I need to change the metal brake pipes ? I think the flexis are different ?

yes flex hoses are different, and im 99.99% certain front hubs are as well, as a drun hub wont normally have anywhere to bolt a disc too. you may also find yo need to change the master cylinder for one with a bigger dia as discs usually increase pedal travel over drums
