adjustable fuel pressure regulator on V6 BOA

    Hi

    i am in trouble again...

when installing adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge
i expected one fuel pressure reg. but it seems to me that there are two - in and out each.
and the air pressure stuff is on other side of the fuel rail.
so i am confused how to connect air pressure pipe from new fuel reg and where to connect...
i know i can look under the car but maybe somebody of you know which pipe is in and which out.

Re: adjustable fuel pressure regulator on V6 BOA

so like robrs advised on fordpower:

"Fuel pressure regulator is the one on the fuel rail at the injectors.
The part on the fuel line in and out are pulse dampers."

So and now the big question - can i cut of the original fuel pressure reg. (somehow fill the hole) and put back the fuel damper and it should work ? ...or?
    any ideas...?

Re: adjustable fuel pressure regulator on V6 BOA

    am back and confused.
    why?
because after i put the old BOA cams back the car is going same... this means my issue is somewhere else...

    but a few good news

all of them are in here:
all of them are in here:

    and a few highlited:

here i need to put some plug...

    what do we have here...
looks like original fuel pres. reg. and some plug...

so as you can see - some good progress was done...

so i decided to remove EGR pernamently

    modified original parts

i was afraid about the exhaust but later on we done it fast and working BUT we had many more issue with the intake - underpressure is such a beast

modified original part was not enough so i believe i will need another aluminium plug...

    BUT this will be OK
what is the main issue - where is my power gone - i will need to measure compression.
could anybody say it is another issue then in compression now.

I forgot to say that after installation of new "plug" the adjustable fuel pressure reg. started to work so i was adjusting down to 3bar and up to 4bar
now i have it on standard 3bar until my cam issue will be solved - then i will continue with usual modification...
