Ford anglia 105e engine numbers help please!!
Hi, I have 2 Ford Anglia 105Es complete with the engines as I bought them. One Engine number reads: 109E 6015B and the other Engine number reads: 120E 6015. Can anyone help me here with what models (and size of engine)they may have come from. One Anglia is the Deluxe Super and the other one is the normal 105E. Cars are in Australia so I'm not sure if the engines were assembled here or imported from UK. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Ford anglia 105e engine numbers help please!!
120 engine is a precrossflow 1500ccm engine from a Cortina/Corsair/Classic Consul
109e can be 1000ccm 1200ccm and 1340ccm, measure the stroke to be 100% sure
109e was an upgrade to the first 105e Anglia block
6015 is FORD code for engine block
I have seen both 1000ccm and 1200ccm engines with 109e, others have found 1340 using the same block
An old picture with a selection of OHV engines found on internet some time ago.
