    Coil Springs

Advice needed, Having fitted 190lb -2 inch springs (Rally Design) to RS struts I am left with the problem of he spring turning on the top and lower cups, this seems to be due to the ends of the spring not being shaped to fit the cups, any advice, thanks

is this without the weight of the car on the springs? if so thats normal with lowered springs

Ah the spring jump steering pull problem? i take it you get the 'twang' with load on the car when turning hard at low speeds? what you need is roller top mounts to cure the problem, its a common one, or coilovers. Its not the spring ends that are the problem, its when they turn the opposite way to the spring stop, its because they are shorter, its therefore easier for the turning force to move the spring in the seat / cup than it is to twist the rubber in the top mount.

Thanks for your response, you make a very good point about the weight of the car, I have not driven the car yet but when the weight is on the suspension and the steering is turned you can still hear springs moving all be it not as much, thanks
