Wiring up a facet fuel pump

it may be a stupid dumb question or it may be on hear somewhere but i no the black cable on the facet pump is the live ?? but how have ppl wired theres in? any pics or diagrams please.

Yeah the black cable is +12v feed, the body of the pump is earth.
If you're using the proper mounting kit with the little black 'bobbin' mounts you'll need to run a wire from the pump body to earth as the mounts insulate it.

You should run the pump from an igntion switched and fused feed, preferably with some sort of cut-out so the the pump will shut off in the event of a crash. You could get one of these from a scrappy for not much money from an old Granada or Sierra.

yer got the fitting kit got a red cable for the earth. yer sounds simple then didnt no if anyone had a pic of theres wired p makes it easyer lol thanks tho
