    Rs2000 trackrod end??

I though when using bilstiens on a mk2 you needed rs2000 trackrod ends

I have genuine greens track rod ends originally
I replaced these in the past with non genuine ones but they are now worn
this time I ordered some and they don’t fit

part number matches rs2000 qr4118s but the taper is too big
need one for tomorrow or will have to pull my entry

anyone got a correct part number?

This one matches the burton catalogue so don’t know where I’m going wrong

If the taper is too large it sounds to me as they are std escort track rod ends. Try giving the Squires Bros a call at Rally and Competition Equip in Biddulph, they should be able to help you out with what you want.I would n't even bother picking the phone up to call Blurtons.

sounds right to me from what i found recently. The green i think is imperial taper with metric thread on the rack.

Yes correct, imperial taper and metric thread on the rack. I managed to obtain the correct track rod end from a factors in the 90's that were the same as the Ford Green ones. I can't for the life of me remember what make and model vehicle they were originally for.

There are some on fleabay. But some of them do say they fit 2.8i Capri aswell. But some of the others say they only fit Escorts... Or as was suggested earlier try Squire Bros at Race..

    Re: Rs2000 trackrod end??

I have made my mk1 track a little wider and I have a problem.
My original tre's are now hanging by only a few threads!
Even with the shortest rack extenders wound right on it toes out way too much.
Am I correct in thinking the green type tre's are longer and might do the trick? Anyone got a measurement from the ball joint center to the end of the thread?
I have rs steering arms with m14 on the rack.
    Cheers.
