Aldon Amethyst HELP

Does anyone have any maps to run on Aldon Amethyst software? Aldon can only supply Rover, MG stuff,... nothing 2L Pinto. Also any tips to help set it up? Sounds like it needs mechanically setting at approx 10 degrees BTDC then advance on the map. At mo have set ATDC and wont start at all

I had one on my Mk2 RS2000.
If it wont start have you wired the imobaliser device? Its a black wire if I remember correctly.

As for set-up once you have it running set 10 Deg with a max of say 32 Deg then its a trip to the R/R.
My one has been set and never touched since. Is yours a vac or TPS version?
I started off with the Vac one but really wasnt any advantage over a good dizzy set-up so changed to TPS.
Once its set and working its a decent bit of kit and helped MPG rather than any real power gains.

Cheers mate, it’s TPS version,.. do you have any values for the TPS part of map? Cheers will set fizzy at 10. ��

Thanks Frits mate all sorted: set static dizzy at 10 degrees then write map with low values at 500rpm = 2, 1000 = 2 then start ramping up in a straight line to 3500rpm = 24. v happy,.. first start in quite a few years
