The time has come to sell on the mk1...















It was originally a 1300GT shell from the Canary Islands, built to its current spec about 5/6years ago in the uk. I bought the car about 3 years ago.

8 point bolt-in roll cage, tied into the bulkhead
Engine is moved back 300-400mm for weight distribution, so has new bulkhead and gearbox tunnel
2.2 twin cam engine from a Fiat Supermirafiori
Twin 44 idf downdraught carbs
5 speed gearbox from Fiat Supermirafiori
Twin plate clutch from a 3L Alfa 164 (New clutch release, pressure plate bearing 200miles ago)
English axle with Panhard rod kit
15inch Compomotive ML alloys, 215/45/15 Toyo tyres
Wilwood hi-performance front brake calipers and larger disks
Capri 9inch drums at the rear
Quickrack steering
Fully polybushed
Sparco Evo seat
Ralloy fuel tank
Facet fuel pump
Elliot rev counter, gauges include oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, volt meter.
Underside has been weather proofed (shultzed)

The car is in great condition, it drives really well, it has about 160bhp, very torquey engine and it sounds superb! The engine has just been serviced and had a brand new coil and distributor fitted. The interior is stripped out and caged, there are no carpets or roof lining for water to hide under. The underside and bubble arches have been weatherproofed and it has always been keep in a heated garage.

Its a bit like those radio shows: Long time listener, First time caller!!

LHD was the only choice, exhaust manifold takes up all the room the pedal box needed.... Ah well!!
