Good morning I have a Crossflow 1600 with water pressure after running for 10 minutes it pressurises the water and it blows the water out it's running dellorto twin 40s aldon igntion and 1300 pistons I have used the engine in my escort for the last 3 years and have seen a steady increase in coolant pressure I put it down to the head gasket so after a car rebuild and new rings in the engine and a head check it is now blowing the water out after 10 minute' it gets really hot and when you stop it It seems to put bubble's in the water also to add to the problem s it misfires when hot fine when cold this may be a separate problem or linked
I have closely looked at the head gasket each time and can not see any carbon traces to water and checked block and head for flatness but not had it machine checked but the head gasket never shows any leaking across to water
So looks like im looking for a crack somewhere any one seen common places Crossflow crack it must be small as it only happens when hot and no water enters the oil also I've not seen any water in the pistons any tips to spotting cracks within the castings any help appreciated thanks
