I have put one in my axle and had it set up correctly but my axle is not on car yet. So cant comment on how they are.

With the prices that burton have on Quaife diffs at the moment you are better off buying one of those imo.

The Blackline LSD isn't an LSD at all - it is an ATB (Automatic Torque Biasing) unit despite them being advertised as an "LSD".

As stated above - Quiafe's price is now competitive in light of the cheaper Blackline ones.

Beware - (I don't have experience of the Blackline ATB's) but I have experience of the Quaife ones and the ones I have encountered have showed signs of wear in the gear teeth and gear teeth housings. I believe the diff oil needs changing regularly to remove the metal material so aren't the "maintenance free" item that they are often portrayed as. It's an inherent part of the design that you will get metal to metal contact and this will cause wear. Of course, hard driving is what most causes issues so light driving would help preserve the life of the ATB. However, if you fit an LSD or ATB you don't intend to go shopping in the car!

It seems not enough trials yet on Blackline.

For the first 1000 miles is good to make 1-2 oil change to flush any metal parts for first use. But drive the car first for 10 mins.
