    C20XE to Type 9 5 spd clutch

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm a bit confused

I have a mk2 with a C20XE and Type 9 5 spd fitted but was done before I bought the car, however now I need to replace the clutch. After replacing the snapped cable last year, no matter how much adjustment is made the peddle continues to 'bounce/vibrate' - from what I've read it appears it could be the clutch itself at fault.

What part numbers do I need? From previous receipts I see the car has a 228mm Vauxhall cover plate fitted before and I need a sierra 2.3 diesel friction plate - see below

As the friction plate is listed as 232mm and the cover only 230mm - is there not a clash? Am I looking at the wrong parts

Anyone able to advise what I actually need?

Also is it worth just getting a lightweight fly at the same time?

    Thanks

Yes there is a slight overlap, the vaux cover is bigger but it works fine, you can use any Sierra plate, or you can buy the correct sized friction plate from QED and SBD, you can also use the std Sierra spigot bearing which fits the XE crank.
