I'm in the process of building a pinto turbo on a budget. I'm using a r5 carb instead of injection and I believe the carb itself doesn't have a fuel return. The fuel pressure regulator (also R5) will return the fuel to the tank.
This all will be going in a capri III that was origional a carbed pinto. So I assume there is no fuel return on the tank. Buying a 2.8 injection tanks are rare here and cost a lot. So I need something else.
I do not fancy drilling and welding a fuel tank, I'm allways lucky and will end up with a big bang.
Now was I reading on turbo mini that this owner had put a T piece in between the tank and the pump. Like this
I know this is a bit of a bodge but if it works thats fine for me.
And can I use the standard fuel line that is in the capri or do I need to plumb in two new lines instead of just a retour.
