Mk2 Escort 1300 & 1600 Sport/Ghia carbs

Can anyone tell me what size of chokes are fitted to a twin choke Weber fitted to a 1300 & 1600 Sport/Ghia ?

The numbers are cast into the side of the carb body.

I think the 1300 is 23 & 24 and the 1600 is 26 & 27.

Can anyone help ?

All 32DGAV Weber carbs have 23/24mm chokes.
Only the 32/36DGAV carb has 26/27mm. (Mexico)

You are right - the 1300 had 23/24 and the 1600 had 26/27.

Hi you all, a little help. In my country MK II were assembled, (CKD from Germany), and the carbs were 32 DGAV. They were assembled by Ford of Uruguay only 1600 SP, mainly 2 doors, a few 4 doors, from 1976 up to 1980.

i have a 1300 mk2 with a twin choke 32 36 carb and it has 26 27 choke
can i run it well on this carb what do the jets need to be changed to?
