Got the rail drilled and tapped, got the inlet adaptor skimmed, fitted the injectors, made a couple gaskets and started to paint my pulleys.

Is that a -8an fitting on the block breather plate or bigger??

How did you get away with painting the block on the dining table??????

turbo m - Its an AN10 fitting, will go to the bottom of my catch tank, the rocker will also be AN10 going to the top of the catch tank. Then there will be a tiny filter off the very top of the tank to vent to atmosphere. The Block breather will act as a breather/drain back to the sump when engine isn't running. I'm still wondering how i got away with it! It was her idea!

Quite a nice update...

Turns out my block breather that John made me was to proud and with a fitting it was touching the exhaust manifold. Was soon resolved as i took it back to him and he milled it down so now it clears...

Then ......My Silvertop 2.0 16v Zetec cam cover arrived in the post... All was great until i noticed it had been damaged in the post. Probably where it was thrown into the back of a van...

Anyway, it needed some grinding and welding for the AN10 boss. This was how it turned out before painting...

Then it was time for a few hours painting. Think i'm quite happy with the results.

Thought i may as well pop back to my unit and time her up, then i could remove the timing tools, fit the plugs, and fit the rocker cover and a couple of fittings.

Sadly i had the wrong HT leads. So they will have to wait. Not the end of the world.
