    Triumph over the rot

Hi I'm new to Ford's and just starting a resto of a mk1 escort 1300 gxl it's a lhd my brother collected from France ten years ago.My previous restoration was a Triumph gt6 which has a separate chassis so monocoque is going to be an eye opener. My brother has stalled on the escort when he hit the bodywork something I enjoy doing so I'm breaking out the mig again.God Ford's like to rot .Few pictures of my Triumph and the bits I've started doing.

Looks a good project. Fords aren’t unique to rust at that age. Keep the updates coming

Nothing wrong with a bit of Heath Robinson!

Nice GT6 - unusual colour combination but it works.
