    Standard tank outlet help

    Hi all,

i have tried refitting my standard mk2 escort fuel tank and the fuel pipe has just snapped right at the outlet connector because it was so brittle. I have searched everywhere and I can’t find where you can buy a new in tank filter and plastic pipe to suit? Desperate to get the car back together and all I can find is an tank outlet seal on eBay.

i just need a short section of the original type pipe and a new filter as I may as well replace that too!

    thanks

Just to confirm it’s the plastic pipe that has broken - not the metal part.

    Thanks

I have cut a section of Plastic pipe off of the underside of the car And cleaned the bottom fitting out and araldited a longer piece in to make it easier to get the tank in.

Just got to order a seal from eBay now

    Thanks
    Kris
