Can't Touch This
Harris Performance Engines ? Burtonpower ? Ebay ?
SRD or Vulcan
Old Fords never die.....................they just get made faster!
Not quite, the machine shops to the valve seat cutting, skims etc. but the builders do the porting.
I think escort Dan is closer to the mark tbh.

Most engine builders will contract out machining as few have surface grinders, Serdi valce seat cutting machines etc, the skill is really in the porting not the machining unless its a cnc head, the ones i know of Vulcan and SRD do in house machining but it doesnt really matter, the key to releasing the power is in the porting, not the machining work.
Burtons don't even build engines let alone do their own porting.

Wouldnt know, never deal with them, i think HPE do all their own porting though.
If money was no object Brookes would have to be near the top of the list. Don't expect anything cheap as his prices are very high, good workmanship though and yes everything is done in House there.
I reckon SRD heads - raised port, are as good for about £1000 less. They certainly match Brookes heads on the dyno
Having seen a lot of graham’s posts about pintos and heads I have come to understand a lot more about what’s involved and what there aiming to achieve with his pipes pinto thread above, if graham was willing to do one for you I’d take that,
I will contact Graham first ... if you check his posts, his work and know how(especialy on pintos) is second to none
I can certainly recommend Graham his work on my Rs engine was nothing short of a miracle what he did to save my engine can’t thank him enough and really pleased with the way the engine now performs so I sent him another Rs engine to work his magic on
I get that and not every engine 'builder' has the space or the money to buy all the kit to do it all in house, burton's heads were sent next door to them to have all the work done on them as are other builders heads in todays mass produced world, I am sure there are the odd one or two heads that fettled in house..
