13" 225 tyres

can anyone tell me where I can buy 13" 225 width tyres from, need to be road legal, tried blackcircles but none avail!!

toyo do a 888 in 225/45/13, road legal, but not a great all round tyre being very poor in heavy rain.

ive raced on them many times they are ok, as long as theres not deep standing water

ok cheers I will take a look, not too bothered about in the wet, had toyo proxes on my kitcar a few yrs ago and they were good!

I use the Khulna v70’s liked them more than the Tokyo r888 and yoko a048,

But haven’t run them in the rain yet, I did use my a048’s in the rain and damp, and they were fine when warm, useless if you his standing water tho, but the water I hit (when I had a little off at croft due to aqua plane) don’t think any tyres would saved it.

checked mytyres and the 888 are 204 quid a piece|| bargain. demons they are about half that price, will see how much the v70s are

I agree having used both the v70’s are better when pushing hard,

I paid £650 for 5 tyres for the v70’s fitted, £130 a tyre

You should be able to stumble on used 225 wheels, so they should be affordable, plus, you do want tire choices in the future.

A few lads I know tried them but dint like them. Not tried them myself though.
