type 9 gearbox - broken pin of operating block

    Hi all,

last week I had a breakdown with my ford capri. I was not able to shift the gears. Today I opened the gearbox and found the reason. The pin (don't know the correct name) of the operating block is broken. This pin must be the same like that one at shift shaft of the 5th gear.

I don't know where I can buy one in used or new condition.

Can anybody please tell me how I can fix that or where I can get a new part?

It's a type 9 "N" gearbox, V6 2,8, later version, but not the heavy duty.

Thank you very much for your help.

    best regards Thomas

Do you mean the roll pin with the hollow centre?
