Is this the hazard relay connector?

Hi, im just sorting the problems with the hazard lights on my escort (that i recently bought) for its mot. Appart from a hazard switch with the insides missing (replacement on the way) ive found a few odd things behind the dash.

Am i right in thinking this is where the hazard relay should be, and the little jumper that someone has added is the bypass the fact its missing??

This is the connector for the hazard switch, its not very clear from the pics but there is a little brown wire that been added by the previous owner to jump two pins (im guesing this was to make the indicators work as the hazard switch was faulty)

Am i on the right lines? Ive never seen a relay with three bullet connectors on its base, so i was planning to fit three bullets into it and run the wires into a normal relay base.

    Thanks in advance

    Trev

If it's a mk1 escort then this is not the hazard connector.
I'm away until monday so I'll have a look then but if I remember rightly one of the wires is black with a green spiral stripe running up it.

Thanks. Yes this is a mk1 escort. It's got the hazard bulb. Can't find the hazard relay so thought this must be it.

In this one you can just see the warning light also has that green spiral stripe running up it

Thanks for the pics. I searched high and low but ,could only find one flasher relay point ( every schematic I saw showed one for hazards and one for indicators). So I fitted my newly arrived hazard switch and all worked. Turns out my car only has one relay. Thank you for your help.

The schematics fooled you as these show both options (just flasher, hazards) in one drawing.
