    What is this switch for?

Could anyone tell me what this switch on the dash is for? Circle with half circles each side? Rocker switch, press and hold. Symbol looks like something do with braking system but too early a car for that! Location bottom left on centre console. It is still connected up, no idea what it does?

Brake fluid level test switch, prob aftermarket. Have a look on top of brake resevoir, if it has wires going to it that's what it is.

Ah really! Car has a line lock fitted, reservoirs are behind the steering wheel, not easy access! Probably is for that, thanks.

Yet to try the line lock for a burnout, scared I will break something!

This one always made me laugh a bit really. If your fluid level's low it either means you've got a leak somewhere or the pads and shoes are knackered. Either way you should be replacing things not just topping up fluid.
