mynsump was off a 1400/1600 8v[ c 14/16sv]
my breather pipe are miles away from the bulkhead.
steve @ sbd do a breather mod kit for aboout 350 ish i think if u got some spare dough!!

my engines upright with the 1400 cut down sump... however the engine has still got a issue clearing the top of the steering rack mount! proving to be a right pain! I'm running on on megajolt set up to basics ready to be finally retuned to engnie spec. I did buy a sbd inlet alley mainifold to webber/dellorto buut decided to to go tb instead. may sell if any ones interested brand new never fitted so it will have to be decent money. hope this helps.
I'm swapping the xflow in my Sylva Striker so looked into the whole RWD thing and Bill Falconer seemed the best all round deal. Spoke to him a few times on the phone first and found him to be very helpful so I've just returned from a 650 mile round trip to drop my engine off with him
Fiirst of all, before deciding to give him the whole motor, he converted an steel sump and modified the rocker cover to stop the oil retention prob - £250 all iin
Now having met him in person,seen his set up and spoken to him at length about what I wanted I am more than happy to give the work.
TBH I bought a second hand motor which was supposed to be built by another Vauxhall expert and it turns out to be nothing like it should bebut it looks like the man can sort it for not over the top money
He has a new motor ready to go on TB's, MBE, exhaust manifold and system producing 190bhp on standard rods and pistons for £4000 or another new build producing around 205 bhp on forged pistons but less TB's and management for £2500 ONO

I'm sure mines cut back further than what yours was, but i wanted my engine as far back as poss for balance. but nice job , all the same.
has anyone managed to to get one in a mk2 escort and running ? looks like all talk and no show?

Won BTRDA B10 Class this year, 2nd English Rally Championship - so yes they do work.

Yep - built by Huxley and myself. I won the BTRDA B10 Class and was 3rd overall in the English Rally Championship.
What kind of spec is the engine and gearbox ? I have my engine and gearbox in place now not to far off stripping and re building engine.
