    I’ve had a disaster!

Guys, I’m just looking for confirmation of my worst fears. While doing a dummy build for clearance check, I’ve gone and dropped a Wossner piston that I’ve already had machined to suit my decked block. There is a dent right in the edge of the crown, I take it my pistons are now scrap? Anyone heard of damage being saved?

had you dropped it on the skirt it probably would be scrap, but as its in the crown you can probably save it

Skirt is untouched, but crown edges are damaged
