    My Mk3 Capri

Hi all, just reregistered so I thought I'd post pics of my car. I did this in just over 5 weeks as I needed a daily driver as my old one failed its MOT. So here it is!

I bought it as an old red 2.8i that had stood for a longtime, but me being a fan of pintos, needed to get one back in there so...

withing 6 days of owning it, engine out all trim off and a home paint job in Ford Black.

Next went about swapping the running gear. Left the single leafs & rear billies in place and fitted a 1.6 back axle (better ratios ). At the front Kept the billies, ditched the Pas v6 rack & crossmember & fitted a pinto one. Then in with the engine

New sportex manifold & system waiting to go on

Also bought a set of new style halogen lamps & powder coated mounts, this way I can have all 4 lights work on side/driving & main.

    Removed the full injection loom

    And fitted a pinto loom

Headlamps all plumbed in, looking like a car again now

Black dash installed from a 3.0 Ghia with a few custom touches

Next fitted my Superlits (7x13) & lowered front by 1.5" and rear by 2"

More interior fitted, carpet etc in

    Bonnet fitted. Nearly there now!

Rear end I went for mk2 back light, bit more retro

    Seats all in

MOT TIME! and it passed. Been driving it for about a week and a half & loving every minute. This is now I need another project!

    Thanks for looking
