    40DCOE32 Auxiliary Venturis size

Hi guys! I'm in the process of rebuilding my second hand DCOEs (which I bought blindly and don't know about their past or if they were working OK before) and I have a small doubt.
The aux venturi is the long type, without space for slide in air horns, just one piece (see attached images)

The inner diameter is supposed to be 40? Because mines are a couple of mm smaller. Maybe this is completely fine, but I don't know so I want to check (for some peace of mind as I will be fitting them next week for the first time)
The other question is, are they sized like jets? what should I check/measure in that case?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

On the aux venturis there is normally a number like 4.5 ; other sizes could be 3.5 or 4.0 .
On a 40DCOE the diametre of the throttle is 40 mm.

serie 32 were fitted on Alfa's (from 1.6 to 2.0 litres). Alfa never used horns hence the full diameter aux venturi (you can machine it on a lathe)

Yeah, maybe I didn't explain myself correctly, the throttle is exactly 40mm, is the inner diameter of the aux venturi I'm asking about, it is about 38mm
Maybe it is completely fine and it is the correct size for this model, but just want to make sure as I will fit them for the first time in the next days.

Yeah that's what I heard, is this a good model of DCOE? I bought them second hand and I didn't know what were they fitted to.
