    Fuel pumps

From what I can understand a fuel pump is not permited to be located in the cabin area of a car unless it is in an enclosed box which I assume needs to be fire proof,,,,Any suggestions as to where I can get a suitable box

    Re: Fuel pumps

simplest solution is bet a big alloy box made which you can rivet/screw to the floor with a lid/access hatch, which if it has a seal of some sorts would be acceptable. but i dont think you can buy such a thing off the shelf, most i see are clearly homemade, or knocked up by a metal fab company

edit, you could make the box yourself from sheet alloy ( or even steel) if you can fold corners and weld/rivet together.
