above pic is a 2.8 capri axle i have, with usual 3.09 cwp
i know 2.8 specials have lsd, ie zf plate non motorspord lsd
but im curious does anyone know more about this differential, it is all enclosed and different from the usual open capri diff, and testing axle turning each side the diff doesnt even seem to slip!
anybody know what is different about this diff or why!?
Could it be a type of spool for some reason?
If it ain't Ford, don't fix it!
looks like the HD P100 pickup truck as on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/P100-Atla...-/263105728966
I was coincidently at it today and am getting it to slip now
It is defiantly some sort of limited slip genuine Ford diff, I did not know of them before
And yes I had a p100 axle before similar looking diff
could be an early transit lsd gary
Well Mick, it came fro a 2.8 Capri axle whether it was In it from day 1 or not I don't know, testing it it is definatly tight like a Lsd, I did have one from a p100 before looked v same but turned free like an open diff
hi gary i,d be pretty positive its a mk1 transit one google transit lsd pics and compare.
