I may be corrected here but the MK2 doesn't have a bulkhead/panel section behind the seats, if I remember it just had a piece of cardboard?
Think early cars had a metal plate but later ones did not ,,,,or the other way round

yeah, that's correct it's just a lip that the back seats lands on and then the parcel shelf panel, with the pressings in it. it looks like 3 pieces, 2 sides and a center section
