    Carburettor solution

Hello guys, sorry if i write this messege wrong, new to this amzining forum.
My name is Jenia, from Israel and i have Ford Sierra with 205 block (was injection before).

I have some problem, now the car runinig with 1600 pinto carburettor (my Sierra comes originally with 1600 OHC engine), A weber carb, 28-30 DFTH.
I bought some 32-36 weber DGAV carburettor but i can't find the right manifold in Israel (we have a lot of Sierra's, but 95% of them is 1600 or 1800 CVH).

Now i dont know what to do, the car runs good untill the car hits 100-110 Kmh +- and then the car dosen't want to go over that.

What can i do about it? Some body tried to bulid an a adapter to the intake manifold to fit the 32-36?

Sorry for my bad English, thanks for the help and good night.
    JEP.

I suggest you get/buy the correct manifold from the UK or other countries or ebay.

    Thanks for the links.
I"ll check it later, I afraid that it will cost a lot of money to send in to Israel.

The idea of buliding a adpter to the manifold is a bad idea?
The problem with the speed it's because the carb?

    Thanks for the help, JEP.
