I have just put a new Lucas A127 70Amp alternator on my 2.0L EFI pinto wired with the battery ternimal going to the larger nut of the two and the ignition light wire to the smaller of the 3 spade terminals but the ignition is live without the key being in the ignition everything works without the key oil and ignition lights are illuminated can anyone give me some advice as to what I need to do to put it as it should be thank you for your time and help in advance
