Brake kits
Starting a new Mk1 project, road/show car Twincam replica with a Zetec on TB's, what are the best Wilwood brake kits, there are so many options, im running AP's on my Mk2 that are excellent but im trying to keep my budget sensible. Which calipers are best?? i believe some dont have good dust seals for road use, for 13 inch wheels (7 x13 Lotus steels).

Re: Brake kits
I know some have dust seals
Billet 4 range of HiSpec have seals, plus you can have a M16 fitment.

Re: Brake kits
I looked at the Hispec kits but the cheaper ones are only for lightweight cars, the better Billet 4 kits are aroudn the same price as AP's, im keen to hear peoples opinions on the cheaper Wilwood kits as ive heard mixed reports.

Re: Brake kits
always heard that they suffer from flex, but now, I've read that's Forged caliper now.
But if it's for road use, that's should do the job.
What AP kit have you ? Forest one ?
I'm thinking of buying one AP kit

Re: Brake kits
Yes the modern forest spec ones with 277mm discs., have them on my Mk2 hillclimb car...great brakes, noisy for a road car.
