Yes the steel retro ford ones are front bowl, their alloy ones are rear, just recently bought a kit from them for my Mk1 Escort.
This is a REAR bowl and this WILL FIT and Escort...
I've got a retroford steel rear bowl one in my escort!

Correct, the rear bowl ones are the Escort ones, steel ones are Anglia etc front bowl, i was on the phone to them Fri.
The rear bowl retroford has been replaced with the cast alloy one which is a whopping £450 inc vat.
Quality sump though, no welded jons like the steel ones, i wish they pressed the steel ones 1 piece.
his original rwd rear bowl were converted 1800 cvh, later fully fabricated and now alloy.
