Top day Trig thanks Bud, was good to meet the usual faces this was the best car event of the year for me
Just got back in myself, I'm fooked
Big well done for the day Trig
My fookin throttle cable snapped just short of Brum again. Had the spare and tools tho this time to repair it but fook me thats twice in as many months........still could be worse, my turbo could have shit itself
What an awesome day, enjoyed every minute, well done Trig
Brilliant couple of days, cheers trig for sorting it and thanks to all the other faces for making it what it was
Had a right hoot killing the rs2k round, had an epic south london touring car battle going down in my last go with aj, biggles and nick in their zimmers for about 15 laps of bumper to bumper racing Sadly my day ended early with suspected headgasket issues but a quick checkover in the first services on the way home suggested that the mess in my header tank was shit in the cooling system, probably some rad weld the cock i got the car off put in it to cure the weeping rad! Bit of a pisser i missed a couple of hours, but probably for the best as it was boiling up all the way home and the oil was going piss thin after a few laps!!
Dan has come home happy that his golf got murdered today, 1 cv gaitor, 1 cv joint, a pair of warped front disks and a bald set of tyres, not to mention a tank and a half of juice
And my mates in the bm's loved their first trackday and we are all raring to go for the next one so get it sorted trig
Cheers Trig, what a great day!
Some really good action on the track too, well done for organising everything mate.
Good to meet some of you guys, I can't wait to get mine finshed now :-)
Must say a big thanks to everyone for there support asnd help the last few months as i have more bad luck than Joner (Pig) has had in a life time
Really good to see everyone there and some excellent machinery out on track. nice to put faces to a few more people on the site but most of all well done Trig in organising a wicked day really really enjoyed myself thanks mate.
There was some really fast cars on track, and some excellent drivers as well, and the time and cars on the track worked perfect in my opinion.
Done around 8 sessions in the van, and was side was most of the time!!! could not stop smiling, to my Cousion and his mate round and have a wicked picture of my mate face shitting himself!!
Near the end i cooked me brake fluid, but all in all had a brilliant day, and love the beers the night before, the banter, the camping!! (Trig and his housing estate)
Will upload the pictures i have on a disc when i get home, and look forward to the next one

yup, another quality day out.
Thanks to trig for sorting it, your a star mate
Pigs right, we were watching Andy in the Van ragging the fook out of it around quarry, was well funny.
And Trig the "grasscutter inbred" giving it large too.
My Evo shat the radiator CLEAN out with a proper 7" crack right across the top of the plastic header, so Neil Very Kindly loaded it onto his trailer and i drove his capri home, much appreciated mate, really shows who your mates are when shit like that happens, as i could have been waiting HOURS for a recovery truck
Speaking of the capri, i cannot believe how that things stays out on track for 30-40 mins at a time without overheating, and overtaking everything in its path, that is one sorted motor. I tried to keep up in the evo, but it overheated and had to back off

Trig, ta for badgering me into turning up on the day - and ta for the passenger ride
don't know what Dean was worried about sitting next to you - who'd have thought someone could make a car trig-sideways-proof. i reckon you tried evry single possible line through every corner trying to unstick the back.
Bernie

Big thanks to Trig for another awesome day , glad I came up the night before, had a good laugh. The capri held up well was relieved the mystery cutting out fault was finally sorted. Also big thanks to Hippy for the passenger ride, your car is the nuts bud , loved every second of it, hope the missfire was nothing serious.

Thanks for organising the day, was awsome day, some pretty cool kit going around. My mate was going around the circuit with his camcorder so I will get some videos up on youtube soon.
Here's a few of the mag shots. The feature should be in the September issue, out middle of August.
Thanks for the invite, Trig.
Cheers,
Simon

that sticker is a cnut to get off you fcuking sheep rapist as well.did you get any pics of mine on track simon,i had broke it before the guy on the day bloody started
talking about broken what caused the turbo to fail pig................
hopefully find out tomorrow simon, although i now have the water injection all sorted out
massive thanks to trig for organising this ! and thanks to everyone else for organising it , i had a wicked couple of days , and think me old mini quite enjoyed having the shite ripped out of it on track , no it was by no means quick , but it wasnt genna be was it ,,, i had some proper fun which is what its all about in my opinion ... im quite impressed that i only took the 'matt little' route once , spinning into the field out of the second chicane , and had some very twitchy sideways action through quarry a couple of times , but it was all good !
i would like to apologise if i got in the way of any of the faster guys at any stage , i tended to move over as soon as i spotted you , but if i held anyone up then sorry
was well impressed with the whole day , and especially by the speed of those lil zetec fiestas! they were flying !
all in all a brilliant time , even if i did drive the 160 odd miles home with absolutely no brakes
thanks everyone !
