    zetecs batterys and water pipes

i know it makes any install easier if the battery is moved to the boot but does it cause any specific issues with the zetec install if left in the front ?

there is certainly plenty of room for the tray and battery on mine. It's still going in the boot though. looks neater without the battery getting in the way of the manifold.

ive looked at the install thread pics again and fitting with battery seems common enough. id rather keep the boot clear as i intend to use the car ,,,,,,, maybe,,,,,, one day !

I'll be leaving the battery up front in me camper van as there no space in the back only think it may need a little cutting off depends on your manifold I would say but I'm hoping it will all stay.

Use a race battery, like a Varley Red top or a Power Vamp one in one of those neat little ally holders, that way your wiring can stay as it is, but you have more room for a phat manifold

so does that mean your manifold will not fit with std setup like seventynine has ? from the pics i was thinking it will ? my battery budget is more likely to buy a "phat" battery

im saving for your ss jobbie to be honest but i really would like a std battery setup as its going to be a very "usable" 4 door.
    im even fitting a towbar
