    Any OEM ecu experts on here ?

    Long shot these days but I have a ford engine ecu that needs a repair and wondered if we have anyone with any experience.

    Any OEM ecu experts on here ?

    Ford ( continental ) mondeo.
    Hole in side and looks like a capacitor damaged. Running at moment.

    i have a plan................
    local scrappy has older units on cars that i hope to purchase one cheap, hopefully i can open it and get spares if similar, fingers crossed.........

    Testing not an issue as yet. Car runs.
    Damage to cap is my concern.

    How on earth did the case get busted apart ?

    Is the problem from the physical damage alone or other ?

    Car involved in accident.
    I have looked at the bba reman site
    But at present undecided.
    Anyone heard / used a company in Plymouth called tamar ?
