Escort MK2 Windscreen Washers

Somehow over the last 15 years I've been rebuilding my Escort I've lost the washer jets. I know they crop up on ebay occasionally, but I quite like the idea of installing something better, the car isn't being kept original so I'm not being a slave to looks.

Please could anyone post some ideas, ideally with photos, of what aftermarket installs you've done. Wiper arm jets, jets in the scuttle panel, in the bonnet etc, if you don't mind me copying your ideas. Anything has got to be better than that bit of old bent tube!

Mercedes sprinter van washers, they clip on to the wiper arm £ 16 ish on fleabay!

I've looked at the universal kits that do this with the jets on the washer arms, and they do look good. However I've yet to find any pictures of how you get the washer hose from the bottom of the wiper arm back into the engine bay on a Mk2 Escort.

Presumably you could route it through the grill under the windscreen and into the engine bay, using the original washer jet holes

Thanks for the idea, I'll have to give that a try with a bit of hose and see what it looks like.
