    Talking Finished Supercharged Duratec Locost

As its a nice day I thought I would get some pics of the car. Not anywhere nice unfortunately

Also realised I have virtually no general pics of the car, so grabbed some while the sun was out

Finished the superchared duratec upgrade over the winter and now covered around 1000miles since the beginning of the month.

Planning to take it to Troy at Northampton Motorsport next month for a final setup on the rollers.

(I will tidy the cables for the KS3 at some point!)

Yep, lots of fun Bit silly with one person in as it just spins the wheels in third from 2500rpm upwards - wheel and tyre upgrade coming soon (when I have some cash!)

Ground clearance is 5" to the chassis at the front and 4" to the sump and bellhousing which is the lowest point.

Have you thought of an heat shield for the exhaust manifold and an cold air intace for the turbo?
Looks like the air coming trough the radiator pushes the heat from the exhaust directly to the intake and out from the vents in the bonnet. But of course this propably does not play any significant role.

The exhaust is wrapped now (it wasnt when I took the engine bay pics a couple of weeks ago though) which really helps to keep the heat down in the engine bay.

My ECU reports inlet air temps of around 20deg on the move and 30deg at rest, so no real problems there. I do intend to build a box around the filter which will force it to pull in cold air through the bonnet vent on that side at some point

I just wear a bike helmet on long/fast journeys, the car is fitted with an intercom anyway so you can still talk to your passenger as well

Looks brilliant well done, I used to run my Cateham at 6 cm ground clearance, so looks like you have plenty
