Ford Taunus SFT (5.4 V12, mk2, 1979) first on the world Taunus with V12

Hi I wanna show you my project Ford Taunus mk2 with BMW V12 m73 engine. And total rebuild, custom and crazy chassis, suspension, interior and all
At the beginning let's look a little bit foward...

    HISTORY:
The plan was simple: buy poor chassis, install 2.0 pinto, build rollcage, instal bucket seats and harness, wide old school style tyres and have fun with Mad Max style car .....but

Car was rusty and ugly and I love Mad Max style but I don't like carless job so we start to fix some parts and then I wanted more and more changes
    I order bucket seats:

Then we started to make metal duck tail which will fit in Mad Max style:

more , more, more and more time, more work and more metal at this car

    idea for plat fuel tank:

then our first in life self made roll cage

And this is end of history
Because I thought, let's do something more. Something nobody has done yet with Ford Taunus. I had a lot of ideas Cosworth 2.9, Saab 2.0 turbo, Volvo T5 engine but all of this was done before....so I made my decision and bought BMW 750 il with v12 5.4 engine....so let's start the game

Thx Breakes at begining will be adapted from E38 750il (front and rear) we will see and test that set in that chassis. If it will be not enought, than upgrade

    Next step

    Let's start rollcage

Rear suspension mount must be stiff

    Some dimple dies

Back part of rollcage is done in 70%

    Nice work.

What is the purpose of the open ends of the pipes in the roll cage near the wheel arches?
