1600 xflow manual to auto convertion

Just looking for some info on converting back to a slush-o-matic C3 autogearbox .
Is there an auto only starter motor needed and is there an auto box specific bush for the back end of the crank to replace the spigot bearing .

Searched the site for a couple of hours yesterday and found small bits of contradictory info on the auto convertion as it is not very popular for obvious reasons

auo has the starter on the other side of the engine, so it is different in terms of solenoid position, however im sure ive seen manual and auto starters swapped, and you end up with the solenoid on the bottom not the top.
Auto does not have a spigot bush, BUT has a spacer on the end of the crank which pushes the converter plate further towards the gearbox. also you dont use the tin bellhousing dust shield

Thank you for the info sir .
So to be clear there is nothing to go into the hole in the end of the crank to take up the 1mm play between the crank and the nose piece in the middle of the torque converter?
