    Heater options MK1 escort

I got an aftermarket universal heater that was smaller and fitted it where the original one was. Couldn't use the original controls, however wired the original 2-speed switch to it and it works great...3.5kw. 👍
Not sure I'd do it again tho....think I'd refurb and use the original 🤔

    Heater options MK1 escort

Had to make our own mounts and sort water and vent pipes. Demon tweeks and Rally design sell them. I googled kitcar heater and found quite a few different ones.
I got the 3.5 kw for £120ish... single speed but original 2 speed escort switch made it 2 speed.

Mark i'm sure people used to use Mini (the car) heaters for space and weight saving.
