Plumbing brake system mk2 escort
Hi I’m nearing the end of a 3 year resto on my mk2, I’m ready to plumb the brake sytem in and what I’m wanting to use is a hydraulic handbrake and a line lock, what I’m unsure of is how to plumb them.
Am I right in thinking for the handbrake I just run the rear line from servo/master cylinder into handbrake and then out to the rear? Then for the fronts do I need to go from servo/master cylinder straight to line lock, then back out of line lock to the ‘T’ piece to feed each side of car? Iv got the callipers all piped.
Also can anyone tell me the type of flare I need to use on the ends of my brake pipes? It’s a 79 mk2 escort.
Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks Tony.
