Thanks 4 yr comments guys I sprayed engine bay and in boot with diamond white cellulose and the finish was shit so i used high gloss farm paint 4 the body of the car.Its not the best paint,but its cheap and ok 4 a rally car

Havnt updated 4 a while bin busy wiv other job.I got engine running 2 weeks ago and bin doin other fidderly jobs when ive got spare time.Passenger seat in,grill and spots on,exhaust on and all doors and boot in high build primmer.Hope 2 hav it finished in 1 month

First 2 photos r my next projects,used as storage containers at the mo Gona start the 2 door first by puttin it on jig. Bit more done 2 rally car,waitin on parts so ive bin doin some smaller jobs. Drivers seat in,bonnet pins,spot lamps painted and stedies put on,reverse wiring done,oil in gearbox,bk doors and boot painted,head bolts and valve clerances rechecked,electrics all finshed just 1 gauge not working and coil getting hot 4 some reason

Bit of a update,not far off being finished,cant wait Jobs done r boot on,strutbrace on,took axle off and rewelded tramp bar brackets cause they were wrong also welded brake brackets on,lowered 1" and filled with oil,repositioned brake pots.

Time 4 a small update.Wheels hav bin blasted and primed will be puttin top coat on soon.Work has slowed on car cause ive lost bit of interest, but went 2 watch briedden rally last night and it has given me bit of inspiration 2 get the car finished,so im bookin a week off work the end of this month 2 get it completed,then im gona start on my 2 door shell as a winter project.

Its been a while since my last post soz and i havnt done much realy,just put topcoat on wheels bout a month ago.I was hoping 2 hav it finshed by now,but most work left 2 do is sprayin and dont wana do it when its cold so will leave it till the spring,unless i get space heater fixed

Bit of a update,ive put wheels on escort,also ive bought another car so i can get back on the lanes till escorts finished.She was cheap and is a bit rough round the egdes,but is mechanically sound and came with tax and mot and some tyres and wheels.Brief spec:mitsubushi colt 1600 16v,1300 gearbox,paddle clutch,ebc brakes,evo seats,half cage.Ive got a navrun next thursday so sould be fun,its been ages since ive done one

Few more old photosAnother be4 photo of 4 door and my old mk2 2 door when i first bought it and mark 1 i had cheap 4 spares which came with 2.1 pinto,rs billies and magard sump guard. It was a stage car years ago,then was used as a roadrally car,competing in the west mid championship.
