    Servo with Weber’s, possible?

    Hi all,

i want to keep my old brake servo which is on a big mount in the engine bay, standard mk2 escort type, I have now fitted a pinto and running twin 40’s. I was told by someone that the servo wouldn’t work from one inlet off of the manifold? Had to be connected to all 4? Well that’s not possible lol.

can I connect my servo to this connection on the inlet?

also a pic of my servo.

    thanks
    kris

it wil work just fine connected to only one manifold runner thats how 98% of pintos with servos and webers are

    Re: Servo with Weber’s, possible?

Next problem I have is that I can’t find a union to fit the thread, it’s smaller than the water connection thread, I have taken the bolt out and found that a mini wheel nut fits the bolt removed that was the blanking bolt.

Googling it, mini wheel studs are 3/8unf but but I can’t find a union to suit on the internet, I am sure this is a standard type part for manifolds. Can anyone help with this?

    Thanks
    Kris

Going to take it to an engineering shop and try some different nuts on the bolt to find out what thread it is, much easier.

    Thanks

It’s m12x1.5, I can’t find any unions to be able to connect my servo pipe onto with that thread, can anyone suggest somewhere which may be able to help?

    Thanks

Some of us have it - some don't LOL! Computers are essentially dumb - you have to know what you are asking before expecting to get an answer!
