    ST170 pistons question

What pistons are recommended for ST170 Zetec, 2.0, ALDA, Silvertop?
I found Woessner K9066D070 (85.5 bore) - is it the correct one?
Also they have K9066DA (84.8) and K9066D120 (86.0), all of them 12:1 comp. ratio.
    Thanks for your advice.

Well, you have 3 different piston sizes there. So for starters, you need to measure your bore size to see what size pistons you actually need!

Yes, I know, what diam I need :-) 85.5...(the other sizes are here just for complete info, what Woessner do). I need to know, if K9066D070 is the right one for this engine. Or will STD piston handle c/r 12:1?

I think you will struggle to get 12:1 cr with a standard st piston, as they have a dish in them, also if you need a 12.1 cr presumably you have some radical cams and will need deeper than standard valve cutouts in the piston

Will use Piper cams FOCSTBP300 and ported head, cutouts will be deeper because of bigger openings of the valves.
